Biography
Sharlene Dean is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse and Patient Care Coordinator with a Master of Science degree and over 20 years of experience providing exceptional administrative support and personalized care to patients in healthcare settings. With a strong background in medical office administration and patient management, Sharlene excels at managing the day-to-day needs of the practice, advocating for patients through every stage of their wellness journey.
Since 2001, Sharlene has worked in preventive medicine at several health care facilities in North Texas, including Baylor Health Care System, and Cardiovascular Interventions in Orlando, Florida. She is certified in the Bale Doneen Method and served as a participant and coordinator in the preceptorship program for 5 years. As a member of the AHAforLife Program established by the Bale Doneen Method, she continues to engage in ongoing education, staying updated on the latest protocols in arterialogy. Her areas of expertise include heart attack and stroke prevention, Type 2 diabetes reversal and prevention, and Alzheimer’s and dementia prevention.
Sharlene holds multiple certifications from the International College of Integrative Medicine, where she developed skills to address chronic health issues and specializes in crafting comprehensive treatment plans to support patients. She is highly regarded for her in-depth knowledge of gut health and its profound impact on overall well-being and continues to expand upon this by pursuing certification in Ayurvedic practices from the Ayurvedic Institute.
Above all, Sharlene is most passionate about the care she provides for patients. By utilizing her strong communication skills, she educates and empowers patients to take control of their health, address concerns, and ultimately add years to their lives. She is committed to ensuring each patient receives the highest level of care, working closely with Dr. Jamnadas to ensure optimal health outcomes.
